New ownership in 2007
As of April 2007, Wilsons Sports has been owned by Mark and Sharon Wilson who have injected new life and enthusiasm into this thriving local business. The team are currently re-arranging the layout of the shop and have installed an all-inclusive firearms area.
There are several initiatives in place for the future of Wilsons Sports that will be of benefit to Oamaru residents and visitors, utilising the natural beauty and resources of the surrounding areas.
